I only have one email account so it was attached to that (the same one as the emails that were imported)

so the calendar was synchronized to the server, not a local calendar?
Are there any errors in Tools>Operations window?
Is your mail account set up using IMAP?

I think it was a local calendar - I set it up using eM Client - I rarely log into my email account directly - I almost always us eM Client.

if you have a calendar service connected to your account, it is possible eM Client would synchronize it.
Thats what I was trying to find out.
Are there no errors then?
Have you migrated your database during the eM Client 7 setup or used the Menu>File>Import>Import from eM Client 6 option?

during the setup process the emails were imported
I just now used the menu>import from eM Client 6 option but still no calendar data - not aware of any error messages

Yes - I checked my email account , local folders & archive
and it seemed to finish okay
