Update- no license

I’m using the free version of em client. After installing the latest update, the program suddenly told me it had no valid license at all, so I was restricted to offline access to my messages. 
This was easily fixed by going to help -> license and re-entering my license code, however I think that having an update delete your license information seems like a bad idea. It’s not exactly user-friendly. Maybe fix this in the next update?

Hello Bart, sorry for this inconvenience we’ve found an issue that caused the application to deactivate in the latest update, we’re working on resolving the issue as soon as possible, I’m glad you’ve found a solution at the moment, but please make sure to let us know if the problem reoccurs, after re-activating.
