when trying to install updates I get error message unable to access 1355wkim.yb5/setup.msi
That error can mean a few things.
You might “have the wrong path / directory to the download installer”. So dblcheck the installer path. Suggest to put the download setup file in your eg: user profile download folder or other internal harddisk folder to install the file.
Or
That can be “you are not running the download installer file as Administrator user access”.So make sure you username has full access.
Or
That can be due to “maybe your restricted on the Local network to access certain folders” if you are connected to a shared lan network drive and trying to install it from there. So make sure you have full access to that folder if it is a shared folder.
If you originally installed eM Client directly from the website, if you need to download it again, go to the release history page and download for PC or Mac.
Then first make a backup via “Menu / Backup” incase you need to restore for any reason.
Then “close eM Client” and upgrade or install.
