All I want to know is this new update bug free or has a problem. Is this just one person that has a problem or many. Who has done this update with now problems. I see the management has not taken down this update if bad.
Thanks
I personally haven’t found any problems with this new version on pc or mac and recommend upgrading as there is a lot of fixes and updates.
But if you do update it’s allways advisable to “make a backup first” incase you need to restore.
If you don’t do automatic periodic backups in Settings, then click “Menu / Backup” to manually backup You can see when the backup is complete in “Show Operations” via the dropdown on the right of Refresh. Close eM Client before upgrading.
Thanks cyberzork,
Latest Android version is 10.4.5360 and it doesnt accept QR import from Windows version 10.4.5600.
Do i need to wait new Android version or is there some tricks to make it work ?
@nberglu We are slowly rolling out a newer Android update that should work with the QR import, we are very sorry for the inconvenience in the meantime.
If you keep having issues even after that, please do make sure to reach out to [email protected] with any issues related to the mobile version of eM Client.

@bliegler we’re sorry to hear that, can you please send the full crash report to [email protected] so our team can take a look?
I sent you my log files, do you have a workaround?
My whole office can’t start their Mail clients currently.
I maybe found the problem and the sollution: the auto update seems to fail without completing to the 5600, a repair fails with an error and cannot fix it, but removing the install (with keeping the db) and a new install of the 5600er works.
I am glad to hear it, you should get a response from our team soon though.
If automatic update fails, you can always download updates manually from our website: Release History | eM Client
Assuming the restore process goes smoothly. That wasn’t the case a few days ago when I tried to restore a backup. In the end, I managed to fix it by restoring the entire OS partition (BTW, I haven’t installed the update yet).
