Unknown error

on starting up eM client I always get the error
13:01:08 [email protected] [AirSync] MailExceptions.OperationException: Cannot create folder “[email protected]/United Kingdom/” with following error: UnknownError (11).

NB. XXXXX is my email address

I haven’t a clue why it adds the \United Kingdom bit.

Any ideas?

if by webmail you mean the outlook.com ite - them no.

I connect to this outlook account from iPhone, iPad and MacBook without any problem.

eM client connects OK and syncs - but I always get this error when eM client starts.

I am trying eM client because I want to use Outlook.com for email but iCloud for Contacts and Calendar - this means I can sync across all devices.

Hi, are you sure that this is really email folder? If yes then I will need your Airsync logs, go to tools - settings - advanced, check Airsync under your account, apply and restart eM Client.

Simulate steps that leads to your issue and after that send logs… to [email protected] together with this topic’s URL in subject.

then you can turn logging off.
