While typing a long technical email I wanted to see if a column of database columns could be turned into a table. I selected them, and did an insert table. It replaced my text (ate 10 minutes of work) and replaced it with a blank table. So I think - that’s ok, I will just hit CTRL+Z undo. It failed - it seems the undo is independent of the table. So now I accidentally ate all my other text but left the blank table making things even worse. I think it would be expected behavior for a window to have an undo stack that is watching all actions and capable of undoing them. The undo stack also eats things out of order. A paste doesn’t always get undone properly. I think there are some things that don’t add to the undo stack.
