Unable to Start eM Client

I’ve recently had a new HD installed & the tech transferred the contents of the old HD to the new one. However, when I attempt to start eM Client, it asks me for a Application Startup password. When I entered my old startup password, it no longer works! Since I can’t access the program, I can no longer remove the requirement for a Startup Password. Suggestions, please!

Start-up Password Problem

Unfortunately there is no way to reset or retrieve the password, but you can delete your settings file which will remove the startup password. It will also remove some of your settings, but not your data, account settings, or signatures etc. To do that, with eM Client closed, go to C:\Users\yourusername\AppData\Roaming\eM Client\ in Windows File Explorer.
