Unable to see body of some messages

I just installed the trial onto Windows11 24H2 here. I have multiple email accounts all IMAP configured in it. I have noticed that if I go to Inboxes, the header panel shows a 2 line summary. However when I click header in the panel the message display area does NOT always show the message.

What is going on?

emClient is trying my patience. I got a regular status email from a online service company. I could not for the life of me read the email in emClient, I could not see the HTML based info in the email body. I had to go into Properties | Repair and only then was I able to see the email.

I really want to use emClient for my email program but all the quirks I have seen in the last 4 days has caused me to regret purchasing a license for emClient.

I may just stick with Thunderbird. Thunderbird my still currently default email client had no issue displaying the email.

Please follow these steps:

  • Go to Menu > Accounts
  • Select the problematic account
  • Go to the IMAP tab
  • Check the box next to “Enable raw download”
  • Save the settings
