Unable to preview/view emails

I am unable to view emails. I am able to send and receive them, but in the preview page (and when opening the email itself) all I see are the loading dots until I quit the program.

Which exact version of eM Client are you using, which operating system and which version of Internet Explorer?

(eM Client uses Internet Explorer to show / edit e-mails).


eM Client: 6.0.19861.0
OS: Win Server 2008 R2 Enterprise
IE: v9.0.8112.16421


Will it be possible for you to upgrade to Internet Explorer 11?

NB: I’m not sure that a newer version of IE will solve your problem, though!

Hmm, I’m not sure that is the issue. Installed on a machine with IE7 and Win XP and it works fine, same version of eM Client.

But to answer your question directly, I am not able to update IE on this machine.

Hey Hans, I was able to determine why it would not display. We have content advisor enabled and since IE is used to display the emails, they were being blocked by content advisor (and the window to bypass content advisor did not display). After temporarily disabling content advisor, I was able to successfully view/preview emails. Thanks for your assistance.
