Unable to log into my account

I’ve set up a password to access my account. I closed my email then tried to log in but it told me that my password was wrong even though it wasn’t. I’m not sure what to do because now I can’t access my emails and I’m expecting a very important email.

Are you referring to the Startup password?

OR the email account password?

I mean the startup password.
