Unable to import from Windows to Android

I just started using eM and I am so far unable to use the Android app. I am still on the free trial of the desktop windows app, in case that matters. The desktop and android apps are fully updated, I have the desktop app producing the QR code, and then when the android app scans it, the following error message appears:

“Error
The format of XML file is newer than the version of application.
Please update the application or use an appropriate format of XML file.”

To be clear I am not trying to import settings by file, I am 100% pressing “Import via QR code” in the android app and “Export settings via QR code” in the windows app. I have repeated this numerous times.

Does anyone have advice? Thank yo uso much,

Hi, we are aware of this issue and trying to solve it ASAP - we have a new Android update ready on our side, but we need to wait for Google to approve it before we can make it available to everyone.
Then the import will start working again.

We are sorry for the inconvenience in the meantime.

I tried again today and could not import to android via QR code. Is there any update on when you think this might get resolved?

The update should be out on iOS, but on Android we are still waiting for Google to approve that update, it’s blocked until they approve it, unfortunately :worried:
