Hi,
I am unable to add a second account on my MAC. I go through the process of adding a Google e-mail account, and I can go through most of the way until I get to the point where it needs to open a browser window and go to the Google mail setup page to complete the addition of the second account.
It tries to open that window, Avast Secure Browser, but it does not end up doing so.
I tried a different browser, Safari, there it does open a new window but does not go to the relevant Google mail set up page to complete the addition of the second account.
I had no issues adding the first mail account, also Google/gmail.
I disabled any security app, no VPN, still no good.
I have attached screen shots of the error message as well as the eM Client version.
Any help would be appreciated, thank you.

Try “completely clearing Safari temporarily cache files” and close eM Client and close Safari and then reopen eM Client and try the wizard again.
Failing that “try installing Google Chrome browser as default” browser temporarily, and then close and reopen eM Client and see if that will get to the end of the automatic account wizard setup.
Yes “best to close any VPNs or optional firewall / security programs or optional antivirus programs” when running the wizard to avoid any interference.
Sometimes you might need to eg: toggle around behind eM Client if you don’t see the popup window to give eM Client access to your Gmail account.
“eM Client Google workspace setup”

Lastly if it still won’t work, check you are using a recent V9.2 or V10.4 via the release history page.
thanks for that.
Tried all that, no luck, and I am using the latest eM version.
I am starting to think it may have something to do with Google, not allowing eM to open the authorization window.
I have looked around my gmail account, looking at permissions etc., but I am not able to find anything that would stop Google/gmail from allowing eM to open that authorization window.
It worked when I first installed eM a while back, but I had to make some changes necessitating in removing one of the gmail accounts from eM, now I have this issue.
Also, I have not made any changes at Google/gmail side, so I have no clue right now.

Could be your second Google account “already has an eM Client OAuth token”. Try going to the following webpage https://myaccount.google.com/connections and see if eM Client is there. If its already there “remove it” and then close and reopen eM Client and run the setup wizard again,
thanks for that, tired it, deleted the eM account in question, still no good…bummer
