HELP

Hello Jack,

“6:14:51 PM   System.Data.SQLite.SQLiteException (0x80004005): database disk image is malformed” this line usually means that the database is corrupted. In this case I’d recommend starting eM Client with a blank database.

First of all, turn eM Client off, then allow displaying hidden folders in Windows. Your database is by default located in C:\Users_Your account_\AppData\Roaming\eM Client and you need to rename the “eM Client” folder. After you start eM Client, it will create a new database and you can check if the problem is solved. If yes, as your account was set as IMAP and if you have no data stored locally, the easiest way is setting the account again and all your data will be pulled from the server.

Russel

I think there should have been a few more lines in that error, which list the specific file in the database that is the problem. But anyway, you could try removing the email account from eM Client then adding it again. That would recreate the specific file, and re-sync with the server.

If that doesn’t work, you could delete the database as Russel advised.
