The EM Client spam filtering system has problems in that previous filters continue to operate after being updated in the visible settings.
This has taken days working with my mail host to debug.
When I change the password on the accounts my mail is delivered properly. When using a password recorded in EMclient they arrive in junk even though the filters have been deleted for months.
So, I need to turn off the spam filters in EM client complete. All filters, both visible and invisible.
In more review I see the biggest problem is that EM Client Android does not sync its blacklist with the server, and there is no ‘delete all’ button. (sorry I don’t have a spare few weeks to individually delete thousands of entries)
I’ve uninstalled EM Client from Android but would like to see if it can still be a working system before I switch to another supplier.
Any way to turn off the broken anti-spam technology?
eMC does not have a SPAM filter.
Mail that is being treated as SPAM is as the result of either…
Rules that you have set locally
OR
Action by whatever filters/rules are in use on your mail server where
you should either be able to make changes yourself or request the action.
You can use Webmail to mark particular and/or blocks of mail as NOT SPAM.
