Try to send email it generates an error message - I click on outbox (message is bolded), double click and resend it it sends successfully?

Every time I try to send email it generates an error message - I click on outbox (message is bolded), double click and resend it it sends successfully?

The error message is different every time (the number before the smtp.gmail.com changes).

Please advise - it is very random - sometime after a few messages won’t go through then the platform starts working OK???

Did you try removing the account and reconfiguring it in Menu > Tools > Accounts > Add account?

I don’t want to lose all my emails associated with this account - I have them set up in separate folders - quite a pain to have to reset up all my folders if I do this?

Any other thoughts/options?

Assuming you use IMAP (the Gmail default), the changes you made in eM Client will replicate themselves to the server.  Therefore, when you delete the account and reenter it, you will not loose anything you have done.
