Transfer data to a new computer

I have set up eMClient on a new pc, transferred emails from old computer and all seemed well but my emails are not being processed. If I try send/receive nothing happens.

Depending on how you transferred eM Client to your new Pc, could be your license isn’t activated which then will cause eM Client not to send and receive.

Go to "Menu / Help / License and see if its activated ?

Checked as instructed and free license is activated.

Ok check then in "Menu / Accounts that “you have the same mail account Incoming and Outgoing settings” as your old computer.

Now if the mail account settings are the same, then could be on the new computer an eg: Optionally installed Firewall Security program, or Optionally installed Antivirus program or VPN. So if you have anything like that installed (other than what comes default with the OS), try completely disabling those to test incase of interference.

Apart from that if the mail settings are the same and you have no optional programs installed like the above or disabling didn’t make any difference, “click the dropdown on the right of Refresh” in eM Client and click “Show Operations”. Then click the “Log Tab” and look for any obvious error messages and paste them in this thread. We might then be able to see what’s wrong.

Also update what version of eM Client you are using and if you have Windows or Mac & OS ver.
