"To" field is not completed with the email address from my accounts package.

Hi, I am currently testing EM Client and have found it to be a very good product, but I have 1 issue that I hope you can help with.
When I send an email through my accounts package, the new message comes up but the “To” field is not completed with the email address from my accounts package. It works ok with Outlook 2007.
Can you help me with this issue, I am currently using the FREE version.

Which account package and which version of Windows?

Iris exchequer with windows 7 pro 64 bit

There was a very similar question on Technet years ago, but no solution. Maybe that will give you some ideas.

Otherwise check that you have the MAPI client setup in Windows. Go to Windows Control Panel > Programs > Default Programs > Set your default programs. Select eM Client and scroll down to MAPI and make sure that is ticked.

It may also be that you have an outdated .NET Framework installed on your computer. I am not sure what version was shipped with Windows 7, but update that and see if there is any difference.
