looks like there are 2 separate problems happening.
The “Modified occurrence is crossing or overlapping adjacent occurrence.” is actually a calendar issue - it means there are 2 events that are overlapping which is something exchange servers don’t allow. Try looking for it, if you fail we’ll need logs.
For the second one we need more detailed log data as well.
Go to Tools > Settings > Advanced.
Turn on Exchange Web Service logs.
Restart the application.
After the error pops up again, go to the Advanced settings and click Send logs. Maybe have your user send them to you first, either way, change the recipient to me ([email protected]), and then put a link to this forum topic int he body of the email so I can get back to you here.

Will set the logging up now.
There is also an issue with time zones in the calendar but I do not see a way to fix this. Is there a known issue when adding an event from an Android device that the time is wrong in eM Client? This was happening to us on the old version too.

Below is the logs for Exchange.
For the time zone issue, looks like eM Client uses CST which is -7:00 for EST, the computer is using UTC which is -5:00 for EST, and the phone is using GMT which is -4:00 for EST.

I copied the logs from the comments and deleted them from the forums; I apologise as I forgot to add an email address where you could send them. Have you tried searching for the bugged event? It could also most likely be caused by changing a single occurrance of a repeating event (for example moving the event to the next day). Try moving or deleting the event or right click the calendar > Properties > Repair and run repair to resync the calendar.
For the timezone issue, have you tried setting the devices to the same timezone and see if the issue persists?
Also, the connectivity issue - I now noticed its connected to a different account from the exchange one. Could you possibly get me a screenshot of the SMTP settings for that account? (Tools > Accounts)

Not sure why this happens in eM Client and not Outlook, she does have some calendar events scheduled at the same time but she needs them to be. Why is that an issue? Or is that not the issue here? I will see if I can find the problem but her calendar is pretty busy.
There is only one time zone that will work for EST on the device.

the SMTP issue should be solved by going to the Tools > Accounts > the affected account > SMTP tab and in the Server setting change the Security policy to “Use SSL/TLS on special port (legacy)” option.
I’m not sure how Outlook deals with the calendar issue, but the error is tied to the limitation of the Exchange server and it’s detected when the changes upload to the server. Changing the repeated event’s time within the same day is okay, but moving it to another day results in this error and we haven’t found a way around this. Running the repair on the folder should help though.
As for the timezone, eM Client should use the timezone that is set up in Windows. Could you perhaps send me the calendar logs to this issue? It can also be set up in the Advanced settings. Set it up and try to replicate the issue and send me the logs. Thank you for your cooperation.

Is there an easy way to find the event? I did the repair a yesterday but it did not help.
Not to sure if it will show up in the logs. Some events looks like just the ones added from the phone are on the calendar correct but when you open the even it says a different time then what it is showing on the calendar.

no easy way to find the event, I’m afraid. It’s strange that the Repair doesn’t work though, I’ll consult it with our developers and let you know (maybe it will be better to remove and add the whole account in to fully resync).

Did you see the email sent a week about with the timezone issue screen shots? Also after changing the gmail account to legacy the user has not been able to send emails from that account, is there another option that will work?

I am very sorry but I did not receive the email with the timezone issue. Could you possibly send it again, please? Also please don’t send just the screenshots but export the event into an .ics file as well, please (it’s possibly to just Drag and drop the even from calendar to your desktop/documents).
Change the SMTP back to port 587 and Force usage of SSl/TLS.
