I’m not sure if this is a bug or not, but when opening the Theme Editor from Menu > Tools > Theme Editor, it doesn’t default to the current custom theme I’m using. This has lent me to multiple times accidentally overwriting a custom theme I spent hours making (thank god for file version control).
If not a bug, can this become a new feature? Thanks!
use “pick element” to select the area of YOUR eMc you want to edit.
I suggest you make a few trial attempts, you can also select a particular Theme by using OPEN and navigating to the Theme you want to edit.
Trial & Error…
If you really know what you are doing you can edit the Theme XML file for even more control.
There are also user created Themes here for Free download… USER THEMES

Thanks for the replies but my issue isn’t how to edit colors, but that the user navigation path of Menu > Tools > Theme Editor does not automatically apply to the current theme.
This does work when first going into Settings > Appearance > Themes > Click custom theme > Theme Editor
I would suggest the UX when opening the Theme Editor should always default to the current applied theme. Unless this is a bug and I failed to convey the issue in the original post?
I assume that this is the way that the software intends, if you think differently you should post a Feature Request, then if sufficient users request this it might be considered.
I believe that this is correct and would apply to any Theme selected.
If I am not correct I am sure someone will say.
