The mobile app crashes when you type the three letters "red" into the sender field.

Unfortunately, for the last 1-2 months, the mobile app crashes whenever I type the letters “red” into the sender field. The app freezes completely.

My phone: iPhone SE

Where exactly are you typing that ?

Can you screenshot where that is and blank out anything personal.

Also what version of the mob app do you have ?

Ok. When you try to write red to the “addressee in the sender field, is that in the compose window ? If it is in the compose window, where exactly are you typing that in.

If it’s not in the compose window, where is it. Need exact location and what you press on to try and replicate.

Ok I carnt replicate that typing red in the To: line. So could be you might have a eg: corrupted account or corrupted installation.

So suggest if you haven’t already, try going to “Menu / Settings” on the mobile app and then go to accounts and remove and readd your account and see if that fixes it.

If removing and readding your account still has the same issue, then next suggest to try uninstalling and reinstalling the mobile app, and then if you use eM Client for desktop go to “Menu / QR Export” and follow the prompts till you get the QR Code appear.

Then open the mobile app and select the “Import via QR Code” option. Then scan the desktop QR Code and choose all the options you want to import. Then see if that fixes it once the app is resetup again.

Now if that makes no difference suggest to next either try the updated newer Beta app 10.3.2242 via the iOS “TestFlight” app or contact [email protected]
