The menu button in email are so small that I cannot read them.

The menu button in email are so small that I cannot read them. These buttons are for editing, such as “undo” or “bold” or “underline” etc. I cannot really tell what some of the buttons are, but I think those are included. I was thinking of moving all my email over to emclient from outlook, but this is one of the problems I have. I cannot read the buttons to edit an email I am typing. I am using version 6.0.23421.0 in Windoow 10. Is there any way to adjust the size of those editing menu buttons.

Hello Patrick,
unfortunately the menu icons are dependent on your dpi settings and aren’t adjustable.
This problem is fixed in the upcoming version 7 though, so maybe you’ll consider switching to eM Client then.

I guess this is not only a problem with any of the dpi settings in Windows but due to the fact that emClient does not allow us to use different sized buttons in any of its toolbars.

Further more from the screenshots of the upcoming version 7 of emClient, it seems you cannot vary the toolbar button size either. That’s sad, because the desktops and screen sizes are getting bigger and bigger and the size of the buttons are still ways behind.

Btw, I noticed that the toolbars in version 7 are centered in almost any screenshot. Is this a static or a dynamic setting.
Guess not everybody will love this and it does not always make sense either, especially when I’ve e.g. there panels in a single main window and the buttons are centered. Where dies the button belong to? To the first, second or third panel?  If may make sense for single popup windows of course.

That’s too bad, but thanks for the reply Olivia.  Is this version 7 coming out soon?  Is Mike F correct when he says that in version 7 you cannot vary the toolbar button size??

Hello Patrick,
version 7 is currently in Alpha testing phase, but we changed the graphics completely and are more careful about different dpi views. As the version isnt fully finished yet, I cant say anything concrete.

Olivia
