tasks not shown in calendar

In the caledar I don ́t see my tasks. Just the phrase “x active tasks” is shown, not the single tasks. What could be the cause?

Hello Richard, if you want to display tasks in your calendar you have to unroll the Task bar in your calendar. Hover over the “X active tasks” bar and click on the arrow on the left of this bar, your tasks should be then displayed. You should be also able to drag it out from being collapsed by hovering over the edge of the bar.

You should also be able to view your tasks in the tasks view by clicking on the Task tab in the left pane.

thank you for your reply. I works fine now. But it would be good for the overview, if I can see the colours of the categories while using the calendar. Is this possible?

Hello again Richard, not completely sure what you’re suggesting, calendar items keep a color of the calendar and categories should be displayed as category boxes for each event.

It would also be good, if they could be sorted by category.

Hello again Richard, thank you for following up with me on this suggestion, I’ve added the feature to the list of requested features for future consideration, unfortunately categories of tasks can only be displayed for the tasks view using the current eM Client options. Thank you for the suggestion, we’ll consider adding the feature in future releases.
