synchronizing hotmail error message

Hello,

I’m living in The Netherlands and taken care of the PC of my parents in law.
Since a few weeks he has always the message “error occur”, when opening eMClient that his hotmail adres is not supported and that synchronizing could not be done. 
In the logging file I can’t see anything strange.

Can somebody explain whta to do?

Hello Nico,

Please try setting the mail account as Exchange. Just remove the account and reconfigure it in menu > Tools > Accounts > New account > Mail > Exchange.
