I have installed the eM Client on several devices. Every time I adjust a setting or add an account, I have to do it manually on each device. The ability to export/improve settings makes this much easier.
I then load the file with the settings into my ownCloud and from there I bring it to the other devices and import it.
It would be great if settings could be automatically synced across devices.
The eM Client has already integrated the connection to various clouds for sending attachments. This connection could possibly also be used to synchronize the settings.
We already do this for Business Pro license users. The settings file can be added on our license server, and automatically pushed to all devices using that license.
And I even would like to sync settings and accounts between iPadOS and Android
Yes, a Business license.
In July this year we changed our licensing model, so Pro licenses are no longer available for purchase. From July they are called just Business licenses.
I’m completely new here, so apologies if this has already been addressed. Is there currently a solution for non-business users to enable syncing across multiple devices?
I use eM Client on three devices (Windows PC, MacBook, and iPhone), and the lack of sync between them is really frustrating. If a solution doesn’t exist yet, is there any chance this feature could be made available for non-business licenses in the future?
Thanks in advance for any insights!

We can’t be the only ones looking for a solution there…
I understand the Licence Manager is only accessible to Business Licence.
But does that Licence Manager keep up to date every devices using same licence? I thought it was a way for admins to “manage licence” (like attribute them to company users).
And what about phones? Android and iOs iOS devices are tagged as “not consumming a licence”. Great. But if I want to synchronize my settings? Should I still use a licence? Will that licence be counted up in the total licences used?
And what other advantages to the Business licence? Does the “Send later” feature works if our client is not open (your server is triggered maybe?).
So many questions…
Forgot to mention:
I’m fairly new to eM Client, and I’m over the moon regarding features. This is the mail client I was looking for in so many aspects, and the pricing is actually fair. licensing for one-time payment is awesome, and for-ever upgrades are a must.
I’m crying over this missing (or incomplete) feature, because I’m a business owner managing multiple accounts on many devices, that kind of change on a regular basis, but I do understand we are probably not many in this position.
I would have guessed someone came along the way with a solution like uploading the backup to a git source, allowing all devices to plug into that source and somehow stay on the same up to date configuration as the main.
I’m looking into every solution that would allow to make sure my experience with eM CLient is as smooth as on my main device, on every other devices.

As you run a business and want to push the settings to multiple devices, then as @Gary advised above Quote:- “The settings file can be added on our license server, and automatically pushed to all devices using that license”.
