I’m experiencing a synchronization problem between eMClient and the Infomaniak CalDAV server related to the timezone setting.
If I use the timezone that eMClient apparently sets for me by default (UTC+01:00 Central European Time (Brussels)), calendar items appear one hour later on the Infomaniak server. If I manually select UTC+01:00 Central European Time (Amsterdam) — I live in the Netherlands — the appointment does sync correctly to the Infomaniak server. What’s strange, of course, is that it’s the same UTC+01:00 timezone yet produces a different result upon synchronization. This problem does not occur when I use Apple’s iCloud calendar or BusyCal calendar. That makes me suspect this is a bug in eMClient’s code. As far as I can tell, there’s no option within eMClient to change the default timezone being used (from Brussels to Amsterdam).
Are there other people experiencing this problem, and does anyone know of a solution other than manually adjusting the timezone every time?
And is there a place where I can submit a bug report?
Suggest then as neither Timezone setting works for you in eM Client but does work in iCloud Calendar and Busy Calendar, then if you have a current active paid Pro, Personal or Business license go to the VIP support page and login and lodge a support ticket.
If you have run out of your 12 months support time, you can get another year extension via the following page VIP Support Extension | eM Client
