If you just want a read-only version of the calendar you can add it using Menu > Tools > Subscribe to Internet calendar. That is read-only so you cannot add, delete or edit items.
If you want a fully read-write calendar, then you add it in Menu > Tools > Accounts and click on the + icon to add a new account. If you just want the calendar and not the whole Gmail account, then choose the Calendar section.
