Sync Google Contacts Without Creating a Gmail Account

Wondering the best way to keep my emclient contacts synced with my Google contacts without creating a Gmail account.
I imported the current contacts form an exported Google .csv text file.
Any ideas?

A partial solution might be to add the Gmail account in em client and you get to choose which parts of your Gmail account to incorporate into em client. I have a Gmail account that I mainly use for my contacts and the Google calendar function but not for email. I added that Gmail account to em client but only elected to show the contacts and Google calendar. No email from that account shows in my em client.

Sounds ok. I’ll go ahead and add my Gmail account and sync the contacts.
