I’m using the latest Pro version of eM Client (9.2.1628 (a307a94)) on a Windows 11 desktop.
One of my eM Client accounts was POP3 and I switched providers last night (to Dreamhost) and found that eM Client POP3 doesn’t work with Dreamhost (however SMTP does work). After running eM Client diagnostics and “fix”, I am notified via a popup box that the password was incorrect (using the correct password). This account is my primary private email account and it has a lot of filters and folders. Thunderbird does work with Dreamhost POP3 but I much prefer eM Client.
I could not find a way to switch an existing account from POP3 to IMAP on eM Client. If I am forced to create a new account in order to try IMAP with Dreamhost, does anyone know how this could be done without losing all of my emails for the POP3 account (removing the account) ?
