Subject field - Selectable Previous Subjects in a dropdown list

Hello.

Please make sure that the subject of sent emails is remembered in the “Subject” field so that they can be selected in a drop-down menu instead of having to be typed again.

Thanks for the wonderful program. Good luck to you.

Can you screenshot the dropdown menu where the subject is not showing in the sent mail ? Blank out anything personal.

The subject is allways shown in the sent emails and could be you may have accidentally disabled the subject in the sent message.

Apparently the translation is bad. I meant something completely different. I send a letter to, say, a construction company, and write in the subject field: “Cost of a brick house.” I want to build a house and I write slightly different letters to a dozen companies, but with the same topic. So, if you make it possible to remember the topic in the mail program, then when sending the next letter, you will not need to type “Cost of a brick house” on the keyboard, but by clicking on the “beak” in this field, select from the drop-down list one of the remembered topics that I typed. For a specific example - “Cost of a brick house”. It turns out faster and more convenient. This is just an example. Another situation - let’s say I wrote a letter to the coach of the sports section and indicated in the letter the subject “Class schedule for the next month.” A month later, I write to the coach again to clarify the class schedule, and I no longer type the subject of the letter, but select it from the drop-down menu. And so on.
That is, we are not talking about a program error, but about an option that makes it more convenient.
I hope I was able to explain.

Ok yes i understand now what you want. Selectable Previous Subjects. I don’t know though how many could be kept in a dropdown list. Might only be a limited amount that can be stored.

However I would suggest to put that in a Sleekplan suggestion for others to vote on “with that title Selectable Previous Subjects”, and “copy your last post into it” to explain what you want.

I believe a simple template would be just perfect in this particular case. OP could not only standardize the email subject but other parts as well.

To setup a a predefined email template as @Catch-22 suggested to do above, go to “Menu / Settings (Preferences) / Mail / Templates & Signatures” as per the Help documentation below.

You can make it customizable - from ten to thirty. More than thirty is unlikely to be needed - too large a list will fall out, it will be easier to type again than to search through the list. However, it is better to see this in practice. Maybe fifty will be fine.
