Start Minimized without Splash Screen

You don’t need to create a batch file.

Here is the solution:

1. Open em Client folder (“c:\Program Files” or “c:\Program Files (x86)” depends on Windows architecture)
2. Run command “shell::startup” (startup folder will popup)
3. drag with right click file from “c:\Program Files (x86)\eM Client\MailClient.exe” into startup folder, choose “create shortcut”
4. Right click new shortcut, select Porperties, choose “Run: Minimized”, press OK
   All done.

If the solution is not working, it may have to do with your OS, as starting an application minimized is a function of the OS, not the app. Check that you have disabled the option in eM Client to run on system startup. You have created the shortcut in the start folder, so having this option in eM Client ticked as well will try to start 2 instances.
