I set such ports SMTP Port: 587 Port SSL: 465 IMAP Port SSL: 993
Connection error pops up for no reason. auto_awesome
when i set up standard ports it works.
when i use the “mail mac” client it works fine with ssl.
Check you have the correct security policy for the ports:
SMTP:
Port 587 = Force usage of SSL/TLS
Port 465 = Use SSL/TLS on special port (legacy)
IMAP
Port 993 = Use SSL/TLS on special port (legacy)
For both of those you need to change the security policy to Use SSL/TLS on special port (legacy)
