SPELL CHECK just won't shut down!

I’m running the current eM Client version 10.3.17738. In every outgoing email, the SPELL CHECKER is all over the email making inane time consuming and often irrelevant spell check suggestions. It is so intrusive - I may have to use another product. I’ve repeatedly attempted to shut down Spell Checker “Menu” > “Settings” > “General” > “Spell-Checker” - uncheck everything save and close. No Help. In Windows 11 I’ve gone to Personalization / Keyboard / Text Input / Correct Spelling Automatically … and unchecked everything. Rebooted. No help. The SPELL CHECKER is like a Zombie - it keeps rising from the dead and claws thru my email with dumb suggestions like mis-spelling ‘PDF’. Is there a way to send it to the grave?

I think I got it … here’s how to silence the near-useless ‘spell check’ that always finds ordinary file-type designations (ie PDF JPG etc) and every URL and thousands of other normal entries as errors:

TWO STEP PROCESS go to:

  1. Settings
    Spell-checker (white box everything and hit the APPLY button)

  2. Settings
    Mail
    Compose
    Check spelling before sending (white box this and hit the APPLY button)

Then Close eM Client
Then ReOpen eM Client
