When eMC puts an email in spam folder, is there a way to mark it as NOT SPAM?
Our emails first go through Network Solutions portal, and many that are not spam through the portal, and rightfully so, wind up in eMC spam folder. We have white listed the needed emails on our server at NS but they still wind up in eMC spam. There is no option in eMC to “not spam” these-I could not find anyway. Is there a work around or option I have missed? I checked the blocked email folder as well. They do not appear there
If eM Client is moving the messages to Junk, it is because you have previously blacklisted the sender or their domain. If that is the case, go to Menu > Settings > Mail > Blacklist > Manage Blacklist and remove the sender’s address or domain.
You can also right-click on the message in the Junk folder and choose Move to Inbox > Move to Inbox and remove blacklist … But if you choose the wrong option, it won’t remove it from the Blacklist. So editing the Blacklist may be easier.
Of course neither of the above will help if it is the server moving the messages to spam. For that you will need to select them in webmail and mark them as not spam.
It is not allowing a right click in “manage” Rt click is inoperative in that menu and the menu prior where the list is resident. There are several on the list I need to “un” blacklist. Thank you so much for responding!
…and we have already checked in our server. We have whitelisted the ones needed but still eMC is placing in spam folder. Many tests over time.
You left click on that button.
Then in the next window, you select an address (1) and click on Delete (2).
My menu only has blacklist and not blacklist and whitelist options
I checked to see if there is an update available but it says no update is available.
It’s dependent on the server. We only offer that for some servers like IceWarp.
When I hit blacklist, the list appears but no option to delete at all. Hitt manage and it only allows me to add to the list
You will need to give a screenshot, because we have this option in all versions, even when the Blacklist was in the Rules section.
I am embarrassed to say it was me not looking through the available options. I was able to remove certain email and domains that I had blacklisted. And no their is no white list option. I truly appreciate your help. Op error. Have a good weekend
