SOMETIMES eM client doesn't sent meeting invitations - sometimes it does. Why?


Hi, do you see any error messages? What eM Client version do you use and what calendar service provider?


Ver 6.0.20468.0
I use Google calender.
If I put more than three attendees in the list I get an error message saying " Invalid email address…invitation not sent"
If I add the invitees THREE at a time it offers to sent them invitations BUT IT DOSN’T SEND THEM except to the first three! NOTICE: I am using the same email addresses and I don’t get the “invalid” error.
None of the invitations show up in sent mail - SHOULD THEY? Where are they sent from?

Hi, when using google calendar, invitations are not sent by email so they won’t be displayed in your sent folder, however the other user (if using eM Client) should see the invitation in his calendar under Invitations, or in his google calendar, other email clients can handle this differently.

Can you go to Tools > Settings > Advanced and turn on GData logging?

  1. Save the settings
  2. Restart the application
  3. Replicate the issue (invalid email address)
    When the invalid email address issue occurs, please go back to the advanced settings window and click on “Send Logs” and send the logs to [email protected] with a reference link to this forum topic.
