"SMTP server doesn't support STARTTLS" error

I’ve had some issues getting eM Client set up and it finally started downloading my mail today. Then an hour later I get an error message that says “SMTP server doesn’t support STARTTLS”, which means nothing to me. I’ve tried to adjust the settings but nothing is working and my outgoing mail is stuck in my outbox. Can someone help?!

sorry for the delayed reply, can you go to Tools>Accounts and screenshort the SMTP tab of your affected account for me?

I have the same error. What is the solution. I cannot send emails on gmail as I keep on getting this error message.

I am trying to send emails but it keeps on sending me the same error. Here are the copies you needed. I hope you can help me resolving this.

Hello Osama,
please try changing your server security policy on all the included tabs to the (legacy) option.
Save, click refresh and see if the issue persists.
