My wife’s eMClient keeps showing the following error:
[email protected]: An error occurred.
[smtp] Cannot send message (Email recipient not accepted by the server.)
The error pops up every 5 minutes, which is when eMClient is set to check for new emails.
I have checked the smtp server settings and they are exactly the same as my own Gmail & eMClient settings.
Can anybody assist in determining why this message keeps on appearing as an Operations Error as there is no email in the Outbox?
This has nothing to do with your settings. Rather, as the error says, it is because the server won’t accept the message because of the recipient address. Maybe it is incorrect or banned or something like that.
Usually the error gives more information, but either way you will need to delete the message.
You will find the message in the Local Folder Outbox. If Local Folders are not visible below your other folders, you can enable them by selecting Menu > Settings > General > General > Show Local Folders. Click on Save & Close to save the setting.
