I have been using eM Client for more than a year, and have been using version 6.0.24928.0 for quite some time. A few days ago it began taking two seconds to open an email window. It takes this long whether it’s a new, empty email or if it’s an email with a 2 megabyte photo.
This is not terribly bad, but is bad enough to be annoying and it did not do this for the first year+ I’ve used eM Client. I’m using a MAPI account, and Windows 7-64. I am not using any real-time antivirus protection.
Is there something you know of that could cause this? What are some things I could check on my system?
(I do not want to upgrade to eM Client 7 because of some usability problems.)
