Is there a way for eM Client to show icons/avatars/favicons for incoming emails received through an email alias on the iPhone app?
They all are displayed with the same email alias service icon, but there is info in the email header that might be used to choose the actual sender’s icon by eM Client automatically.
For the PC version of eM Client, one can add the icon of choice to each contact (incoming email) as desired, but that doesn’t appear to be the case for the iPhone app.

The Android and IOS apps “dont yet have a contacts section” like the desktop for assiging icons or avatars manually to contacts. So you would have to wait for a later version of the Beta app which then might also have that option. From the original blog article on the app, Contacts will be in stage two.
“Support for the calendar (as well as other features such as contacts, tasks, and notes) is planned for the second phase, after the full release of the first version, which primarily focuses only on email features”.
So keep an eye out on the main eM CIient Blog page for updates on the mobile apps.
@misbe Are you referring to the push notifications of the eM Client app on iPhone which only shows the eM Client logo with an incoming mail?
Here, you would like to be shown icons/avatars/favicons which are also displayed within the app besides the mail?
If I understand you right, I would support your suggestions, that would be a nice feature!
Concerning the display of contact pictures, I agree with @cyberzork: Since contact pictures are not even displayed within the app yet it also won’t be able to display those in the push notifications as long as contacts are not available on the app yet.
I just checked the app an in my account contact pictures are displayed, but I assume the it only works with those which I have already imported from the desktop eM Client using the qr code while installing the app?
This is already a bit older but I think what @misbe was referring to are the sender images when an email is routed through an alias service like SimpleLogin. So it doesn’t matter if there is a contact with an image.
I have the same problem right now on desktop. Because the mails get routed through SimpleLogin, they all show the image of tjhat server, which is really annoying. As @misbe said, there is info in the email header that could be used to grab the image from the original sender.
