Can you share your IMAP folders with someone else? No, not using eM Client, but check with your email provider if you can share your folders using their webmail interface.
Can you see a folder someone has shared with you? Maybe, but it depends if it can be LISTed from folder paths or if the server supports namespaces and it can be found there. It already works with some servers.
Both delegating your folders to others, and viewing folders delegated to you can be done with Exchange accounts from within eM Client.
