Set up appeared to be automated, but asking for login details, do we have to register?

Just installed eM Client as Windows Live Mail 2012 now constantly asking for a login and password, now this eM Client is doing the same thing.Are we supposed to register to set up a username and passsword? It all appeared to be automated.

I just installed eM client because my Gmail was doing the same thing, hoping this has stopped it

After you set the account, you have to fill in the mail address and password for the first authentication. By any chance, was there any credentials or authentication process change on your mail server’s side that would call for the re-authentication window?
