A bit of an odd one - I’ve been hosting a private mail server using docker-mailserver for several years now. I first dabbled with eM Client about a year ago, and all was well. I put it away, and didn’t use it again for several months.
Now, I’m back, and trying to use eM Client for my mail again, however both IMAP and SMTP are failing to connect, reporting server timeouts.Normally I’d be persueing firewall issues etc. however testing identical IMAP and SMTP settings in the Outlook desktop app yields successful results, both IMAP and SMTP appear to be working correctly.
I’ve checked over my server configuration, (protocols, ports, TLS version and ciphers, DNS etc.) and all appears to be well.
What could cause eM Client to report a server timeout, when being run on the same machine, with identical settings as another, working client?
