Server side search

Hi,
i’m currently testing out server side search with the new v8.
But it seems it’s not working. Or at least i have no way to check if it’s working.
On WIN10 with 30 day trial and activated option “use server search if available”.
I’m running Dovecot # 2.2.22 (fe789d2): /etc/dovecot/dovecot.conf

Pigeonhole version 0.4.13 (7b14904)

OS: Linux 4.4.0-138-generic x86_64 Ubuntu 16.04.5 LTS

it states that:
RFC 7377: IMAP4 Multimailbox SEARCH Extension
RFC 6203: IMAP4 Extension for Fuzzy Search
must be supported and enabled.
SEARCH=FUZZY is no problem, but according to
https://imapwiki.org/Specs
ONLY Oracle supports Multisearch.
I also created Virtual Namespace / Folder on my server. Of course i have FTS_SOLR installed, enabled and configured correctly.
Anyway i don’t see any differences in searching behavior…
Which IMAP Commands would v8 send for server side search?
Did anyone test this feature yet?
Many thanks in advance.
Regards

eM Client has not implemented standard IMAP sever-side search. They decided to implement something Exchange-specific - so unfortunately it is not compatible with a properly configured Dovecot server with FTS search.

Good news. I can now confirm that version 8.2.1659 does perform server-side search against Dovecot IMAP. This was sufficient incentive for me to purchase a license.
