I’m a user of the paid Windows version and I created some custom labels. The labels clearly are server labels since they show up in the mobile android app. I can remove the labels in the android app but can’t add them because they are not available in the labels list.
Am I doing something wrong, or is this a known issue where eM Client is working on?
If you want to add Server Tags / Labels in the Droid app to the show the same on eM Client for desktop, press “Menu” and go to “Settings” at the bottom. Then scroll down to “Preferences” and open “Tags”. Then press the dropdown on the right of Local Folders at the top and “press on your Server address” as per the Gmail example.
Then lastly, press the + icon at the top right to “create a new server Tag / Label”. You can also choose a Tag / Label colour if you want as well.
Thanks for your suggestion, cyberzork. However this doesn’t work for me. When i go to settings/tags, I indeed see ‘local tags’ but I’m unable to change something.

(Local Tags & Labels)
To change a Local Tag / Label in the mobile droid app, press “Menu” and then press “Edit” at the top right. Then press the 3 vertical dots “on the right of Tags” and press “Manage Tags” You can then either add a Tag / Label via the “+” symbol at the top right, or “press on a Tag” to edit or delete it" as in the example below.
(Server Side Tags & Labels)
To add , edit or delete Server Side Tags & Labels (like Local Tags), as advised further up this thread, you “press the dropdown on the right of Local Tags” and select your email account as in my Gmail account screenshot example below.
Note:- If your email account is not available to select in the dropdown, then that means either your mail server “is not supported yet in eM Client for adding or editing” Server side tags or labels, or “there is some restriction on the server mailbox end” depending on what mail server you are with.
