I have installed emclient on four user computers. Each experience an unusual number error messages stating unable to connect to the outlook.com server. This occurs immediately after starting emclient ( set to not start upon boot). This appears to be a bug at startup, because a Refresh does not cause the same issue, all synching completes.

Thanks for you quick response. Have read through the responses recommended. Having the latest build of emclient 7 I find that the creation of a new account is automatic and protocols are set up for IMAP, SMTP, and Airsynch. Synch works well when emclient is fully operational and testing with Refresh.
I emphasise that the problem only occurs immediately after emclient starts and then it is fine. It seems that there needs to be a synch delay to allow for emclient to settle down.
I’m using eM Client 6 Pro. You should be able have synchronization off at startup. In version 6, I have to go to Tools/Settings/General/General/Synchronization and uncheck Synchronize items at startup. See here (don’t know if version 7 setting is in the same location):
Not sure this will solve your problem, but worth a try.
Thank you for the settings advice, I have missed that. Time will tell if that is the fix.
