Separate mail boxes from one provider.

I have several mail boxes on one server and would like to see them separately in the left pane. Right now they all combined into one “Local Folders” folder. How can I separate them?
Thank you

This mostly depends on how you connect to your mail server. Using POP3, you will get one local folder Inbox. That is all POP3 can do.

However, if you use IMAP, you will have a mirror of the folders as they are on your server.

I do connect using POP3 and it worked just fine in WLM. Can I switch to IMAP?

Will the PRO version allow me to separate the mail boxes?

You said you have several mailboxes on one server. Is that several separate email accounts, or are you referring to folders you created in a single account?

The difference between the Free and Pro versions, is that the Free one is limited to only two email accounts. So if you have more than two, or you are using eM Client for business use, then you will need to get a Pro License.

I’m not using it for business.
I have several email accounts with one provider, yes.
Right now free (trial) version of eM Client shows two accounts (gmail and Hotmail) and the rest is in the Local folders. Everything in the Local Folders happens to be four emails from one provider.  Does it make sense?
Thank you

So you should have a separate set of folders (Inbox, Sent, Drafts, Trash, Outbox) for each of the two accounts. You should also have a set of Local Folders.

Is that what you are seeing?

That’s exactly what I see. My issue  is that all other mail accounts are combined in Local Folders.

When you setup a POP3 account, the very last screen in the wizard asks you where you want to store the incoming email.

If you chose to store messages in local folders during the setup, then all the accounts you selected this option for will be in a single Inbox in your local folders.

You cannot change this setting afterwards. The only way to separate the accounts into separate folders, is to delete the account and add it again making sure the separate folder option is selected. This is the default setting.

A tip when working with POP3 accounts: ALWAYS make a backup before you delete an account.

This screenshot is totally unfamiliar to me. I will play around to see if I can fix it. Thank you for the ideas.
