Sending from hotmail.co.uk stuck in Outbox

Hi all,

Just upgraded to version 9.2.1222 and all emails being sent from my hotmail.co.uk address are just sitting in the Outbox in Local Folders (no attachments, just a few lines of text). There are no errors in the Operations. No errors shown when diagnostics is turned on. Synchronizing folders appears to be working, looking at the Operation window. I’m using Windows Firewall and have turned this off, makes no difference.

The SMTP settings are as follows:

Host: smtp-mail.outlook.com
Port: 587
Security Policy: Force usage of SSL/TLS (have tried all options, makes no difference)

Can someone please help, as it was working fine on version 7?

Problems when sending emails via SMTP with outlook.com accounts

This week Microsoft made some changes on their mail servers, which disabled OAuth login for the SMTP protocol on their accounts.
