Send Mail Fails on eM Cleint ONLY

As of this morning (1/13/2025), sending mail fails. It does not fail on my other email client (BlueMail on Android) or using raw web mail on TWC (Spectrum), so the problem lies with eM Client. When I run diagnostics and try a fix on SMTP, no fixes are found.

Please go to Menu > Operations > Log, click copy log, paste it into an empty text file, and send it to [email protected] (ideally along with a link to this thread so I know what you are referring to).

I’ve been having the same problem randomly for months, but now for a few weeks, I can no longer send emails with eM Client. Sending emails using other email clients works though with the same IMAP configuration.
Sometimes diagnostics say everything is fine sometimes not, the “Fix” sometimes works but actually does not change anything in my settings.

IMAP is used to synchronize emails and receive them, for sending you need to make sure your SMTP settings are correct, you can try copying them to what they are in the other programs where it works?

Sorry, I meant the SMTP configuration, not IMAP.
I have exactly the same settings in eM Client as in my other email programs and yet the only program that fails to send email is eM Client.
