Send and Receive not working for me

I spent a couple of hours trying to fix this problem, assuming that I had a configuration problem. In desperation, I finally tried using Tools - Send and Receive - and ignored the ALL options instead using the ONLY options of Send and Receive - or Receive - at the bottom of the pull down menu - both of which worked fine. Needless to say this breaks the auto update and sync function. Does anyone understand this behavior?  Thanks for your assistance.

Hi, I’m not completely sure what you’re referring to, do you think you could specify the application’s behavior?

What version of eM Client are you currently using on your computer, can you please check the exact release number in Help > About? What mail service are you using with eM Client? Are you seeing any errors thrown by the application when trying to synchronize your items with eM Client, if you do, can you please make a screenshot of the error and submit it to us here on the forum?
