Send and file a mail

Hey there,

I was starting my career with using Lotus Notes, where a really powerful standard feature was included, Send and File, means immediately putting an allready sent file into a folder. I can not understand, why my own mails are so unnecessary. I would like to have my whole communication regarding a toipic inside a single folder including my own mails.

With Outlook I created a macro to do that for me.

Unluckily eMClient does not suppert scripts and I didn’t find that feature. Does someone have an idea or workaround? I found an old 10 year topic, which is pretty outdated.

There is no current eM Client Quick Actions “Send and File” macro that i’m aware of, but there is a Sleekplan suggestion for that which you can vote for below.

Option to pick a folder to save to when sending (Send and File) | Mail | eM...

You can however setup a eg: Rule in eM Client to copy or move an email to a folder after sending via “Menu / Rules” as in the below example screenshot. See eM Client Rules online documentation.
