Selection of tag displays

Just upgraded to Ver 10 and cannot find where the appearance of tags can be modified. That is, from small colored icons, to colored elipses with the name, to simply colored spheres. Can someone point me in the right directions? Thanks.

I’ve had issues with tags in eMClient but I’ll just tap out what I know, maybe someone else can fill in any gaps or tell me if I’m wrong with anything.

For formatting I found this here:

  1. Tools
  2. Tags
  3. Select Tag or Create a new one
  4. Edit
  5. Change colour as required.

I just chose white because I couldn’t see the text in the coloured spheres. The text in the tag is still tiny and I don’t know how to increase the size which equals the rest of the text on the line.

I noticed that the tags appear in the beginning of the subject field before the text. However, I view my messages in a list (ie View > Message Panel Off) with the fields . If showing the Tag column this takes them out of the subject field.

I noticed that for Gmails it was auto assigning the tag important appearing in eMClient as a purple background. However, I found out that you can turn off what Gmail calls the Important Label by the following:

  1. Logon to Gmail
  2. Settings (top right hand corner)
  3. See All Settings
  4. Inbox
  5. Next to Importance Markers click on No Markers
  6. Save Changes
  7. Go to Labels
  8. Next to Important click on Hide
  9. At the end of the Important row uncheck Show In IMAP

Some people on this forum notice a “Not Junk” tag. I believe this happens when going to Thunderbird, it leaves a tag from the server and this is carried over to eMClient.

Hope my ramblings help.

Thanks for your reply.
